After picking you up in Nice, we set the scene on our journey out of the city to the autoroute, but once on the highway we prefer to concentrate on safely driving you the 40 or so minutes to the area where the vineyards are. Rightly or wrongly, we do think that there is probably enough time during the 8 to 9-hour day to get over most of the information that you would like to hear - and that it is safer and more pleasant for all concerned to do most of this once in the area of Cotes de Provence, and out in the vineyards and wineries themselves. Thanks for coming on tour with us, and we'd love to take you to see more vineyards, in perhaps a different local appellation, if you are staying in Nice or Cannes or elsewhere on the Côte d'Azur again someday. Merci!

As you can imagine, for us, it is always most stressful and unwelcome when a day starts out with a major problem - especially so when it comes to guests like yourself who are making a Port of Call on a cruise, and therefore by definition have a very precise window and limited amount of time. The great news is that you seemed to have a wonderful day with our lovely Yannick... and after the bumpy start, some good wine and good food is the perfect tonic (and not just in Provence!). Dear Susan, that is absolutely true, and we were so sorry about that. Like I told you, we had problems with our new booking process during 2 days at the beginning of September (we no longer had visibility on our bookings), which we have since settled. We tried to reschedule you the next day but unfortunately you were no longer available. We always try to do our best but that day we did not find a solution for your reservation. We were so sorry. That does not make us a bad company, but a human company that has to deal with a new management system that was sometimes quite complex to understand at the beginning. We apologize again for all the inconvenience this has caused you and we share your disappointment. Best regards
