Overlooking the sea, along the mythical Riviera coastal road between Nice and Monaco, you will enjoy a guided visit of this enormous perfume factory’s modern design, particularly well showcased against the backdrop of the charming medieval village of Eze. The tour of the perfume factory includes a visit to the cosmetics laboratory where the brand’s creams and other skin care products are made.
After the factory visit of 30 minutes, we invite you to unveil the history, the origin, the culture of this very special flower and the way it is used in perfumery. A moment of sensory and olfactory memory development with the explanation of the olfactory pyramid, the recognition of 3 blended compositions that enter into the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. During the workshop, you will create and customize, following the advices of our teacher, your own Eau de Toilette (12 ml in a spray).

At the end, our group of four (one adult, three teens) had produced four completly differente perfumes and we were all thrilled of the experience.
If you plan to visite Fragonard than go directly for the workshop. We did the free visite in the morning not knowing that visit is anyway part of the workshop in the afternoon and we all found that the second visite within the workshop was much better, on the one hand because the group was much smaller and on the other hand, information was more focused.
Just do it and enjoy !!!

The group immediately dove into creating a fragrance without proper explanation or knowledge, spending just 15 minutes on mixing the perfume components. It would have been more beneficial to receive a brief overview, perhaps using a fragrance wheel, to understand the concept better.
Moreover, the workshop could have been enhanced by focusing less on the cosmetic/soap production line and more on the essence of fragrance creation.
The guide's unclear explanations, coupled with difficulties in understanding her English, added to the frustration.
Additionally, the emphasis on unrelated elements and the guide's announcement of leaving the company diverted attention from the workshop's main purpose.
Although the fragrances produced were impressive, the workshop's overall quality did not justify its 29€ cost. I would recommend spending time conversing with shop floor assistants and investing the amount in a more fulfilling fragrance experience elsewhere.

I found the commercialisation of the check-in off putting and if everyone is going to wait 15 minutes, could we have more seating please? I couldn't access the internet inside so we almost missed our bus to Nice as we couldn't check the schedule. Could it be posted?

Finito alla velocità della luce di aver odorato varie fragranze creiamo sotto comando della versione Rottermeier di Heidi, il nostro Mini profumo, per arrivare al negozio ed è solo qui che capisco il perché di tanta fretta. La signora impersonificazione di un generale aveva così tanto nella testa la volontà di raggiungere i suoi probabilmente ambiziosi target di vendita che ha finito per spendere la maggior parte del tour a dedicarsi alla vendita anziché al workshop. ovviamente tutti gli ospiti acquistavano (incluso noi) perché i prodotti sono senz’altro ottimi, ma quel retrogusto di modi orrendi lasciato dalla visita, mi ha molto disturbata. Mi sento di consigliare alla signora guida venditrice di cambiare i suoi modi per non rovinare l’immagine di un brand prestigioso, evitare di commentare che i suoi colleghi francesi non sono presenti in fabbrica perché i francesi non sono grandi lavoratori … perché questi commenti non sono inclusivi e rispettosi verso nessuno (e io non sono francese). La sua corsa verso ogni cestino di prodotti acquistati da gente del suo gruppo per inserire il suo codice venditrice no 26 del sabato 12 agosto mattina era semplicemente imbarazzante .
Consiglio a Fragonard di dare alle guide uno stipendio fisso e di togliere qualsiasi commissione di vendita in modo da rendere un momento come quello di un mini workshop piacevole per tutti.

The guide – I'm sorry but I forget her name! – was a wealth of information, humorous, warm and accommodating.
One thing you could include are pens for each participant to write down their notes, thoughts and most importantly their secret "formula" for their personal fragrances. (The guide kindly loaned me her pen... But I still forgot my formula. It smelled nice though!)
Definitely something different and well worth doing.

On était là pour en savoir plus sur les parfums et profiter des connaissances de notre guide. J'ai eu l'impression de perdre mon temps, mon argent et que les talents du guide n'étaient pas bien employés. De toute façon, on quitte rarement la boutique sans acheter quelque chose, alors inutile de vouloir à tout prix nous vendre des produits qui nous intéressent moyennement...
