My daughters (10 & 11) and I had reservations and when we arrived, they had room to add my husband. I didn't originally get him a ticket because I didn't know if they had 'cologne'. They confirmed they had musk/spice scents and it could very much be fun for the guys, too. We had a great time! We took the class with the 50ml bottle and it was about $100USD. We all went home with a bottle of our own perfume that fit perfectly into the clear bags provided at the airports to travel in our carry-on luggage. We were able to take our time, smell all the scents, the workers helped us choose different layers if we were struggling. The worker smelled our creations, made suggestions (by decreasing certain scents if they were overpowering), and allowed us to accept her change or go back to what we had before. She was so sweet and acted surprised and pleased with all the scents (which I think is adorable!). She then took our favorite scents and created a sheet telling us the amounts of each scent to add to our bottle. We all were able to work independently and created our perfumes. My daughters loved it and are so proud to wear THEIR perfume.
MIGRAINE/HEADACHE PEOPLE: I started the day with a migraine. My migraines will quickly turn more severe with certain scents. I was really worried about all the 'perfume scents'. I survived! I stayed away from florals (I don't like and they are migraine triggers for me). The room wasn't overly smelly at any time. You smelled the lids of the scents so you can control how much smell you get. I was able to gravitate towards fruitier scents that are usually okay with me, even with a migraine, and it all worked out for me.
The space was bright and clean, plenty of room for us to spread out and visit with others at our station.
We spent 10 days in Paris and this was my favorite thing we did!
TIPS: 1. Don't be afraid to take your man! Or go by yourself! Or have a birthday party here! Take friends!
2. I think an 8/9 year old mature child could probably do this longer class. You know your kid. They didn't check birthdates/passport, so if you need to 'fib' about your kid's age--you can. But if your kid isn't ready, do the little kid class instead.
3. They provide you with a certificate that has an order code for your specific perfume recipe....you can reorder when you run out!
4. When you're done with your class, you get a discount for the store! You can go ask for a bag, if you'd like, and do some shopping.
5. If you live nearby or have friends visiting Paris----get them a class for a gift. What a wonderful and unique gift! They get an experience, a very special and unique take home gift. How magical this would be!!!!
SO FUN, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Un bon moment à se prendre pour un nez. De belles essences à associer.
Vraiment dommage que la qualité du parfum soit trop faible pour tenir sur la peau ou les vêtements... ça gâche le réel plaisir de pouvoir profiter de sa création.

Bonjour Madame Thierry, Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre expérience, nous sommes ravis que votre atelier vous ait plu. Concernant la qualité de nos créations, nous travaillons en concentration Eau de parfum (plus élevée que l'Eau de Toilette...) avec des essences produites à Grasse. En se basant sur le principe de pyramide olfactive, vous créez un parfum composé de plusieurs essences aux volatilités différentes (tête, cœur, fond) ce qui permet au parfum d'être équilibré et de le faire évoluer tout au long de la journée, grâce aux notes de fond, plus intenses, qui le prolongent. Ce qui peut vous donner l'impression de ne plus sentir votre parfum après quelques heures est le simple fait que votre cerveau s'habitue à l'odeur car pour lui, elle n'est pas associée à un danger et peut donc être mise en sommeil pour laisser place à de nouvelles odeurs dans votre champ olfactif. Mais rassurez-vous : votre parfum est bien présent et votre entourage peut le sentir. Nous vous invitons à le pulvériser sur des points chauds (ex : l’intérieur des coudes, le décolleté, derrière les oreilles...) pour que vous le réactiviez grâce aux mouvements et échauffements et ainsi puissiez le redécouvrir durant la journée... L'atelier qui devait durer 2 heures sur le papier n'a duré finalement qu'1h15. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de découvrir toutes les senteurs. Du coup, j'ai trouvé que le travail était bâclé et le rendu forcément non satisfaisant.
Le présentoir tournant est rapidement un vrai bazar...
Il me semble qu'il faudrait avoir un minutage pour chaque étape...
Bref une déception... Dommage car j'ai adoré l'idée...

Nous prêtons une oreille attentive à chacune de vos remarques afin d’améliorer notre expérience client au quotidien. En ce qui concerne votre type d 'Atelier, sur la région parisienne, la durée est d'1h30 en format collectif avec jusqu'à 20 participants par groupe (c'est l'Atelier Prestige privatif qui dure 2 heures où la salle et l'orgue du parfumeur vous sont entièrement destinés). Nous pensons, par rapport à vos remarques, que vous aviez en tête le descriptif de notre Atelier Prestige qui aurait été en totale adéquation avec vos attentes. N'hésitez pas à vous inscrire à cette expérience si vous souhaitez compléter votre formation. Passez une agréable journée. Bien cordialement. Votre équipe Molinard.

My fiance and I decided to do this as a unique stop on our adventures around Paris. The initial experience was great, the lady was welcoming and told us all about her connection with the owners and how the business was family owned and had generations of business, we were excited. However as the session went on, the leader started scoffing and turning her nose (excuse the pun) up at my fiance's choices of fragrance and she was not subtle about it. She also made little snarky comments throughout the session at almost every scent choice. At first we brushed it off as a professional surprised at the choices, but it went on for the entire session relentlessly. The lady ultimately loved the fragrance, but by this time we were so uncomfortable and did not experience being welcome there. We were rushed out and frankly happy to have left.
One amazing thing is you can re-order your created fragrance anytime, they will remake it exactly for you, however as much as we LOVE our scents, I am hesitant to return to a place such as this that treats their customers like this, and hesitant to even consider re-ordering anything from them.
Note: I did send two emails to them letting them know our experience and requesting a response regarding our session, but have received nothing in return.
Really disappointed, and disgusted at the treatment we received.
Love the fragrances we created, and aside from the customer experience we will remember this little adventure in Paris.
